PETS
I am neither allergic nor
afraid of cats or dogs. I am quite
comfortable working in homes where there
are pets.
My only request is to be notified before
hand that there is/are pets in the home
and how many.
HOLIDAYS
All major holidays such as Thanksgiving,
4th of July, Christmas and New Years day
are billed at double the usual rate.
As a mother it is not possible for me to
be away from my children on these days,
but if I am booked for a job around
these dates and the customers so desires
coverage will be provided.
I will provide from my team and
experienced baby-nurse to cover until
the day of my return.
CALCULATING HOURS
You are to bare in mind that there are
baby-nurses who work all various times
and hours. Even though I offer services
in all areas, the are that causes the
most confusion in calculating is the
24hour nurse. That is who this is
generally aimed at.
The 24 hour nurse works on what is known
as a daily rate and gets paid by the
day. Even though we count 24 hours in a
day, this is used mainly as a reference
point. It is physically and emotionally
impossible for anyone to work a complete
24 hours.
Day 1- As long as I arrive before
nightfall on the first day, I consider
it a day and require a full days pay.
Day 2- Begins 6 a.m. the next
morning and so on until the job ends.
Please keep in mind, I know and
understand the nature of the business I
am in. I will work with all my mothers
and I do not want anyone to think that I
will always, at the crack of dawn, run
off and leave them.
